 The two cows on the bright yellow farm, Their names are Romeo and Juliet and they’re two twin sisters. The farm has lots of short bright green grass and short bright yellow flowers. Romeo and Juliet are white and brown cows. They also have bright yellow tags on their ear, only one of their ears has the tag. Romeo and Juliet have brown ugly ashy bendy knees.

Romeo and Juliet have grass for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Romeo and Juliet like to play around with each other, Romeo and Juliet’s ears are big and wide. Romeo and Juliet give milk every two weeks. Juliet’s face is almost brown and Romeo’s face is almost white.

Romeo and Juliet like to exercise with each other at the farm early in the morning. Romeo is one year older than Juliet. Romeo and Juliet like to play fight most of the time. Romeo and Juliet’s home is big. Romeo and Juliet have owners in the farm. Romeo and Juliet’s owners' names are Peter and Jackson.

This is a Venn Diagram to differentiate between the characters

in the story.

Rata is a human being and he wants to reach home as soon

as possible so that he doesn’t get stranded when there is war

between Tawhirimatea and Tangaroa. Rata wanted to get back

home quickly so he wanted to make a waka. However Rata

was disrespectful because he did not ask for permission, or

even remembered to thank the God of the forest after cutting

down trees to make his waka. This shows that Rata was a bit

selfish and disrespectful.

On the other hand the forest creatures demonstrated their

values by teaching Rata a lesson. They put all the trees

together that Rata had cut down. The creatures of the forest

were humble and thankful towards Tanemahuta the God of the

forest. They worked in a team and were always calm and

cheerful, They taught Rata not to forget his values even when

he was in a desperate situation.

Life cycle of a Butterfly

The mother Butterfly lays eggs on
the new leves of a swan plant. When
the caterpillar is ready to come out the
egg hatches. When the baby caterpillar
is born, it feeds on the leaves of the
swan plants. The caterpillar will continue
to eat until it is big. The caterpillar will
hang itself upside down under a leaf and
will become a chrysalis.

2 weeks later…

It will come out of its chrysalis as a
Butterfly. Then it has to dry off the
stickiness on the wings by slowly flapping
its wings. Then it will continue the
generations of butterflies.
