What is global warming?

What is global warming?

Global warming means warming of the Earth.
Global warming happens when the
atmosphere traps heat from the sun.

Earth is becoming too hot because
the carbon dioxide is responsible for
absorbing heat. The temperature is rising
because the level of carbon dioxide in the
atmosphere is increasing. If the temperature
rises glaciers will melt, it will cause wildfires,

heatwaves and animals will lose their habitats.

We can slow this process of global warming by
growing more trees. Trees will absorb extra
carbon dioxide and help in cooling down the
Earth.

  1. Christine it is so good to see you using such hard words and understanding what they mean? What can you do to help fight climate change? What warriors do you need to have as a team to help you?
